The larger bracelet is silver with gilding and suasa. Inner diameter: 2 5/8″, height: 6 3/8″
The smaller bracelet is silver with a copper interior. Inner diameter: 2 5/8″, height: 5 3/8″
Each bracelet is formed of three sliding tubes of metal, decorated with appld spiral designs and balls. Please note the signs of wear on both of these examples. These were used by aristocratic bridegrooms, by men of the upper class during the funerals of their fathers, and as an amulet (See Power and Gold’ by Susan Rodgers, pp.277, 322).
